Easy to change batteries when needed. These lights are on a clear coated silver wire. Shapeable, formable, wire. With the lighter color wire, also I find these are perfect for the white and lighter colored beaded trees. 
As I have several of these, I have only taken one set of pictures. Wrapping and bow color may vary in christmas colors (some are in greens, reds, gold, blue etc. ).  Multi color Lights are shown next to a decorated tree to show size.
