Up for auction is an beautiful Postcard cover from Oflag 5 A ,  Germany from a South African prisoner of war at the officers POW camp to Scottsville South Africa .  Postmarked in November 25, 1945.  In excellent condition. Note the cover has airmail postage affixed which is very rare. POW mail was entitled to free postage, for surface mail. If the prisoner wished to send it via airmail, they needed to purchase the appropriate postage from their captors. very scarce.
