The blade has old water pattern wootz steel. it has fine visible pattern and thick spine, blade is in original condition with pitting & patina  probably a high quality fighting blade dating from the nineteenth century.  Single edge blade, and little rust can been seen on blade.

it has fine quality sword handle made in iron mughal creeper floral design. back side has sun-rise flower design. 

cover made from wood and red velvet sheath. it has small cape suspension ring. 

The grip would comfortably fit a full,  A very good piece for beginner's collection.
