This is a pair of vintage bronze copies of the masks of ancient Greek comedy and tragedy characters Thalia and Melpomene which hung above the stage in all ancient Greek theaters.  Similar mass are displayed above almost every modern stage around the world.  These each measure approximately 3.5" tall by 2.5" wide, and have cast loops at the top for hanging.
