For your consideration is this unusual antique original stoneware bowl. It measures 15 1/4' in diameter across the top and 6 3/8" tall. Based on its unusual design, I'm calling it a dough proofing bowl. I'm not sure of that, nor am I sure of its origin or maker. I can't seem to find anything like it, but sometimes that can mean I'm looking in the wrong places. It is being offered estate auction fresh, here in the land of Western, Monmouth and White Hall stoneware, just to name a few. That being said, it retains a mellow old surface that appears to be from years of use. there is some crazing and discoloration to the glaze but no chips or cracks. Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have. Quoted shipping is to the lower 48 states and includes insurance. Thanks.
