Black Diamond Firefighter wellington boots, sturdy rubber construction, made in the original Kaufman Footwear factory in Canada about 20 years ago before it closed, making this version very collectable. These are high-quality boots featuring: Internal steel toecap, Internal steel midsole, External shin reinforcement (thick yellow rubber), Internally insulated up to mid-calf, pull-on loops. Various sizes; size shown on the boot is Canadian/US; deduct one size for UK (Size dropdown selection box above shows Canadian/US and UK size to avoid confusion). These firefighter boots have been used although there is a lot of use remaining; condition is grubby, consistent with firefighting use; firefighter ID is written in lining. There is fractional perishing of the rubber, usually at the very top, particularly on the yellow trim at the top of boot, but not enough to stop them being waterproof.
These safety boots meet stringent Canadian & US standards for Safety and Firefighting but as they were never certified to UK or EU standards and do not bear the CE mark, these wellingtons are not being sold as giving Safety and/or Firefighting protection. They are sturdy waterproof, insulated wellingtons and this version is also very collectable.
