'Who Drives/Kit-bashes Wins'
Not quite how the motto reads at Hereford but, anyway...

1968 onwards - Land Rover Series 2A vehicle with some SAS 'refinements'  :)

Body structure constructed from Airfix and Italeri 1/32 kits.

The model is mounted on a fully functioning SCX/Scalextric 4x4 chassis (Nissan Patrol) with independently sprung all-round suspension - real coiled springs. (See all the close-ups).
4x4 is direct-drive with proper drive shafts and not rubber bands as was the case with the Audi Quattros etc.

As can be seen, it's in the British camouflage scheme instead of desert pink.

Comes in a clear plastic case.

I was recently contacted by an eBay member who believes that this is the very model he created as a project which featured in Slot Car Monthly - Dec 1996 issue.  Although images of the magazine article were forwarded to me, I have not approached the magazine's publishers for permission to repost any of their pictures so, feel free to search online - if they're available to see.

Will not post to 'PO Boxes' - will be sent tracked & insured (Free P&P to UK mainland addresses).

Highlands & Islands would require a surcharge so [Contact the seller] / about this item and include your postcode.
I don't expect the insurance to be cheap but, who cares knows (Sorry)
