By default, the meter is programmed to measure in feet. 
The user can reprogram the meter to measure in any other system.

Option 34
The meter is powered by an internally rechargeable battery, DC 12V or AC 100 -240V.
This option allows the meter to be used where it cannot be powered from the mains.
The internal battery allows the meter to operate up to 20 hours without the need to charge it.
The advanced battery level indicator monitors when it needs to be charged 10 hours and 2 hours before it goes flat.
This option includes Option 30 - Measuring module detachable from the display module.
This simplifies battery charging.

Option 36
An external rechargeable battery pack 12V, 10.4 Ah, 100 Watts 
allows the meter to operate up to 100 hours without the need to charge it.
