The beginning of the issue is 1976. It consists of 10 figures made in metal. It was produced in silver and without painting. Figures of early and late releases have differences in drawing and small details. It belongs to a variety of column soldiers. The columns were produced at different enterprises in large quantities and had many varieties.
The history of the Bryansk Automobile Plant - Initially the enterprise was only one of the buildings of the steel plant in Bezhitsa, where heavy tractors were manufactured (their production was mastered in 1956). However, on June 4, 1958, on the basis of Resolution No. 442 of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the USSR "On measures for the further development of the automotive industry" dated April 17 In 1958, the automobile plant was separated from the Bezhitsky Steel Plant into an independent enterprise.
Already in 1958, BAZ produced 53 tractors. In 1959. the production of cars for the needs of the army was transferred here from Moscow, and in 1960 a special closed design bureau was created at the Bryansk Automobile Plant and independent production was organized. A significant role in the creation of the base's developments was played by chief designer Raphael Alexandrovich Rozov, who worked at the enterprise until 1967.
In 1959, the production of special-purpose vehicles BTR 152, previously manufactured at the Likhachev Automobile Plant in Moscow, was organized. Five years later, in 1964, this production was discontinued. Also, in the early 60s, the Bryansk Automobile Plant was instructed to start organizing the production of special high-terrain vehicles ZIL-135k according to the design documentation of the same Likhachev plant. In June, 1964, the base had a branch – Navlinsky Automobile Assembly Plant. In 1968. the production of tractors and pipelayers was discontinued, but the company continued to manufacture spare parts for repair and maintenance work for them for another 10 years. The negative processes associated with the collapse of the USSR have not spared the Bryansk Automobile Plant. With the beginning of the 90s, hard times came for the company, the volume of orders was reduced, the workshops were in decline. In September 1997. in accordance with the restructuring plan of the joint-stock company BAZ, the Navlinsky branch was transformed into LLC Navlinsky Automobile Assembly Plant, which a year later became an open joint-stock company. Currently, the main products of the Navlinsky Automobile Assembly Plant are power take-off boxes for domestic trucks (KAMAZ, ZIL, GAZ, URAL, MAZ) and cardan shafts for driving special units (for fire trucks, military and utility vehicles). In June 1998, as a result of the restructuring of the Bryansk Automobile Plant, JSC "Bryansk Wheel Tractor Plant" was formed. The situation began to improve only by the beginning of the new millennium. In 2001. BAZ became a partner of the Independent Association of Machine Builders (NAMS), there was an opportunity to develop its production again. In 2003-2004, the chassis of the Voschina-1 family were accepted for the supply of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The serial production of new special wheeled chassis and their deliveries under the state defense order has begun, the plant supplies some of the equipment to civilian customers, primarily for the oil and construction industries.
