What does the Free Commissioning Involve

This new free service will see a commissioning engineer taking on the customer service element of the new installation. The engineer's visit can be booked with the BWT commissioning team by either the installer or the customer directly.

During the visit, the engineer will check the softener is set up in line with the homeowner's requirements, that it is operating efficiently, take the householder through the basic set-up procedure, explain the features and benefits on the model that has been chosen, and will give the customer the chance to ask any questions they may have.

The new scheme is designed to pass the responsibility for the water softener from the installer to BWT, releasing the installer from the need to undertake additional customer training, or to be the first port of call if there is an issue with the unit's operation, especially in the early days of ownership.

The BWT engineer is not a plumber,so won t be checking the pipework or other parts of the installation, as BWT believes this is best left to the installer. The free service is designed to enhance BWT's customer care, helping prevent anxiety among new customers, ensuring they benefit from softened water without needing to call back the busy installer

Simplicity
Each model is comple to set up install and operate and uses less water and salt than many other similar sized water softeners. The high level efficiency is due to our on-going design and development policy resulting in a design which includes an innovative bed high food grade monospheric resin a rotary valve and an advanced memory electronic control system (AMECS).

Easy Installation
The compact size of each unit makes choosing a location to site your new water softener even easier. Low voltage electrics makes it unnecessary in most cases to run an additional mains spur to the unit instead a low voltage small diameter extension cable can be easily fed back back to an existing 13 amp socket up to seven metres away.

Designed for your home
The new Waterside range has been developed to blend in with its surrounding wherever it is placed. Both models will fit inside a standard 600mm wide kitchen base unit; and in some caes the smaller unit even slides beneath a sink or drawer. Ergonomically designed with clean smooth lines and pastel colours the Waterside range will compliment a wide range of kitchen styles and rarely needs more than a quick wipe over to stay looking as good as new.

Sensitive to the environment
All water softeners regenerate periodically using salt and water in the softening process. The Waterside Ultra S range incorporates a series of advanced processed to ensure that regeneration takes place only when necessary saving sale water and energy.
 
Proportional Brining 
The integrated electronic control system monitors your softened water usage making only enough brine (salt solution) to regenerate that part of the resin bed that has been exhausted. In this way the amount of salt water and energy consumed relates directly to the amount of softened water used making it more efficient and cost effective.

Couter Regeneration
This means brine solution first passes through the unused resin at the bottom of the resin bed ensuring that the whole bed is treated with no wastage. This reduces the amount of water used in the regeneration cycle.

Lifestyle monitor - for general efficiency
Day by say hour-by-hour the electronic control system captures data on the amount of water you and your family are using and stores the information in its memory. Cleverly distinguishing between high usage days usually weekends and low usage weekdays it will only regenerate when neccessary saving salt water and energy whilst ensuring you still have the correct amount of softened water on tap at the start of each day.

Deliveries

Items showing "FAST & FREE" have an estimated delivery time of 2 working days or less. Delivery times may vary, especially in peak periods please check our handling time at the bottom of the listing.

Our carriers apply a surcharge to certain UK Islands, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Islands, unfortunately we have to pass this charge on to our customers. This does not affect all products and services, those that we can send via Royal Mail are charged at a flat rate. Whilst we do not want to pass on surcharges to our customers we are unable to absorb the full cost of sending to these orders.

When you place an order with us, we like to make sure our delivery charges are plain and simple to understand. It may seem like a heavy read but it will answer all your delivery enquires.

We send our orders from our warehouse via Royal Mail or one of our couriers below, subject to stock availability and security checks. The delivery method used is based on the size, weight and value of the order. The only exception to this are items that are delivered on a palletised service which will have to be booked in with a member of our Buyaparcel team.

Any parcel being delivered by courier will require a signature on arrival. If you are not at home the driver will leave an information card.

You can track the progress of your parcel by the Track My Order link at the top of the page. If your goods have been sent by a trackable service you will be able to track your order stage by stage using the couriers online tracking system.

We currently use three different delivery methods depending on the size, weight and number of items you order from us.

All small items under approx 1.5-2.0kg will be sent via second class post (Economy delivery).

Delivery is normally within 3-4 days of despatch but please allow up to 28 days for delivery. This service is a partially tracked delivery service.

On the morning of your delivery, an email and a text message (if mobile number provided) will be sent to you with a one hour delivery window. If the date and time is not convenient, you can simply either text back or reply back via the website to choose the next convenient date, leave in a safe place or leave with a neighbour.

If delivery is missed then this will be sent back to your closest depot. Please check the UKMAIL/DHL site for your closet depot.

Customers in delivery Zones 2 and 3 will be subject to a surcharge of £6.50. Details of these zones are below.

Zone 2
The Highlands and Islands of Scotland – postcodes IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE.

Zone 3
Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Isles of Scilly -postcodes BT, IM, TR21-25. Scottish freight will be sent via a 24 hour courier service, however due to the distance travelled it may take 48 hours before delivery is made. Glasgow Edinburgh North Wales Truro Ireland Parcels sent to the areas listed which have been despatched in more than one box, may be split up in transit and could arrive with a day’s difference in the delivery. Please note - items over 1.4m are manually handled through sortation, this can cause the item to take up to 48hrs to be delivered. 





If you goods are being delivered on a pallet, you will need to sign for this. A pallet delivery is sent on a standard 2 day delivery service once this has been booked in by a member of the team. Your order will NOT be delivered until the courier have got in touch with you to arrange a delivery date.

If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful then there will be a re-delivery charge of £10.00

We are able to service most of mainland Europe using the DHL Connect and Express Services. This is generally a 2-4 day delivery service.


We are now able to supply goods around the world as part of ebays Global Shipping Program


Our team work extremely hard to get your parcels to your door is the shortest possible time but please note that we recommend you do not book a plumber etc until you have received and checked your goods.
Please note:If a parcel is returned to us due to it being refused, a £10 fee will be deducted from your refund. Delivery addresses cannot be changed once the order is placed except in the case of an error, which we will do our best to change, but orders are often shipped quickly after being processed.

Most of our listings have the option of a collection via one of the 2,500 collection points including Argos stores in Sainsbury’s and CollectPlus collection points. If this option is not available it will be related to the size/weight of the item.

You will be able to do a same day collection from our Lowestoft branch if you order before 2.30pm. After that the product will be ready the next day for collection.

Our store is open Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm so any orders placed over the weekend will be available for collection on Monday. Weekdays any orders placed up until midnight will be available for collection the following day. This excludes bank holidays.

Please wait for confirmation that your order has been picked and is ready for collection before you travel. You will be required to bring your ebay order confirmation and a form of photo ID on collection.

Unwanted Goods:

We offer a 30 day return policy. Once you inform a member our team, you can then return the parcel within 30 days of receiving the goods. This is under the following conditions:
The item must be unused and in a resalable condition otherwise are not eligible for a refund. Items returned after 30 days or with poor condition packaging will be subject to a deduction of 15% restocking fee. 
Carriage charges for returning unwanted parcels or items ordered in error are at your expense, we cannot be held responsible for this.
Please use a traceable service, otherwise there is a possibility the courier could misdeliver your goods and your parcel will not be relocated. We cannot be responsible for which courier you choose to return any items back with.

Damaged/Incorrect Goods:

If you need to return an item due to an error we have made or because your item is damaged, please contact our team within 7 working days* who will resolve this with you (*this varies per courier). It is highly important that you check your goods as soon as they are received. Please note:

Damaged items delivered by UK Mail must be reported within 3 days of receipt (loss must be reported within 3 days of expected delivery date).
Damaged items delivered with Palletways must be noted when you sign for it and reported to us within 24 hours. It must be signed as either damaged or unchecked for the claim to hold.
Return costs will only be covered if authorised by a member of the Buyaparcel team.
We cannot be held responsible for an arranged collection that fails. If this occurs, you will need to return the parcel of your own accord, no matter the reason for the original collection.
The items must be returned within 30 days of notifying us, along with a copy of your invoice as proof of purchase.

Faulty Goods:

If your item arrives faulty, you must report it to us within 24 hours. The item can then be collected and refunded or replaced. Any items reported as faulty outside of this time frame will need to be dealt with under the warranty. Please contact our team via phone or email who will advise on the warranty procedure, or visit the product in question on our website where the warranty procedure is explained online.
Some faulty products must follow procedure and be sent to the manufacturer for testing. They will diagnose the fault and either repair or replace the unit under the warranty. To find out if yours is one of these products, you can check this against the warranty tab available on each individual product listing.
Once any return is received back we will process it within 7 days

Order Cancellations:

Once you place an order with us, there is only a short time frame we are able to cancel that in – this is even shorter if you have selected a Next Day delivery option. Please contact us immediately by and our team will do their best to arrange this for you. Please note:
Emailing us that you wish to cancel your order does NOT guarantee its cancellation. Only once the order has been confirmed as cancelled by a member of our team is this the case.
Once an order is in the despatching process, we are then unable to cancel it. 
We do not take financial responsibility for the cost of the return of any products ordered in error or that are no longer wanted.
If a parcel is returned to us due to it being refused, a £10 fee will be deducted from your refund.

We work hard to ensure we are partnering with the best delivery companies. On occasions, Royal Mail and our couriers may have difficulties making a delivery due to address issues etc. If this is the case you will be contacted by the carrier advising how to arrange redelivery. If a delivery is unsuccessful the parcel will be returned to us & our team will then notify you. We will resend the parcel once a full redelivery fee has been made.

We cannot accept products of a certain nature back once they have been installed, such as shower pumps and toilet cisterns. Installation of these products activates the manufacturer’s warranty and hereby need to be dealt with according to their guide lines.

Your statutory rights will not be affected. We cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred whilst you are in communication with our team.
