Claude Bolling's "Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano" is a crossover composition featuring seven movements. Originally written in 1973, it combines a classical flute with a jazz piano trio consisting of piano, string bass, and drums.

"Peter Gunn" is the theme music composed by Henry Mancini for the TV show of the same name. It won an Emmy Award and two Grammys, featured on the 1959 soundtrack album.
