This theatrical style is a modern version of those South-of-the-Border, over-the-top fashions made famous by Carmen Miranda's unique costumes in the 1940s. The bubble cut-out on the heel is a new element on a classic design. The brilliant hot pink of a fancy ruffle is reflected in the multicolored insole of this shoe, turning up the heat on this tropical number.
