“LE REMORQUEUR”, 1979 ORIGINAL STONE SIGNED COLOR LITHOGRAPH BY THE FRENCH PAINTER AND PRINTMAKER MICHEL DELACROIX (B. 1933)

This original edition stone signed lithograph is by the internationally renowned French painter MICHEL DELACROIX. This print is an excellent example of the artist's work, depicting one of the artist’s Naif (Folk Art) scenes in Paris. This unnumbered edition lithograph is plate signed in the image lower right: Michel Delacroix. And copyrighted in the image lower left: © LITHOGRAPHIE ORIGINALE. The lithograph image is printed to the edges on wove paper, the full sheet image size measures 12 1/16 x 17 3/16 inches. The lithograph is mounted on to a mauve color mat board backing measuring 14 1/4 x 19 1/8 inches. The lithograph comes unframed. 

PLEASE NOTE CONDITION: The lithograph appears to be in very fine condition, crisp clean colors, with no evidence of any damage to the image.

MICHEL DELACROIX studied at the Lycee Louis-le-Grand. He has had numerous one man shows as well as group exhibitions all over Europe. Michel Delacroix's primitive style in his paintings and graphics combine structure and detail with rich color to convey the bustling, diverse activity of the street of Paris, his native city. It is no wonder that Michel Delacroix is recognized as one of the important primitive artists of our time.
