These are clean and very well taken care of. I’m sure there are minor scratches and signs of use but nothing outstanding or noticeable. They sparkle and shine with different colors when the light hits them. There are no significant defects.

I would say condition is “very good”.

This set would be a gorgeous part of a table setting.

When you've had 200 years' practice of making

crystal glassware, you'd better be good at it. Luckily. Val Saint Lambert is among the very best. Founded in 1826, the company is one of Belgium's most

respected names in craftsmanship and design.

History:

Aimé Gabriel d’Artigues who owned the Vonêche glassworks bought the Baccarat glassworks in Vosges. Two employees from Vonêche, the chemist François Kemlin and the engineer Auguste Lelièvre, created their own glassworks in the Abbey of Val Saint-Lambert.

From 1835, the glassworks expanded rapidly around the Court du Val courtyard, where around one hundred lodgings were built for workers.

Today, Val Saint Lambert remains true to its identity by continuing to combine traditional crafsmanship and expertise.
