Smurfette was the only female Smurf who appeared on the TV show until Season 5 of the 1980's cartoon show, when she was joined by a young female Smurfling named Sassette, and then later in Season 8 when she was joined by an elderly female Smurf named Nanny. Smurfette would eventually be joined by a hundred other female Smurfs in Smurfs: The Lost Village. She's basically everyone's favorite Smurf in the village. In the Movies "The Smurfs" and "The Smurfs 2" Smurfette voice was provided by Katy Perry.
