Offering a vintage 1940's Western Electric 633A Dynamic Microphone with desk stand. This is the famous 633A “salt shaker” mic first produced by Western Electric, and later by Altec. A rugged low-impedance dynamic mic, it can be mounted vertically for non-directional pickup or horizontally for directional pickup. It was popular with radio stations for many years, made a great mic for remote broadcasts away from the studio like news and sports but it got plenty of studio use as well, now enjoying renewed popularity with harp musicians for it's rugged, hand-friendly shape and audio profile. This mic is 100% intact and original with good working factory element, PLUS the original heavy iron desk stand(If you don't need the stand base, we can reduce the price by $25.) Some light wear, wired to a 2' cable with older male Canon (XLR) plug. (Note: A lightly engraved inventory number is visible near the base of the mic casing.) ** Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping. **
