Yoshitoshi Giclee Woodblock Print Hachiro "Courageous Warriors" Series 8"X11"

This is a 8" x 11" giclée reproduction print of a Japanese Meiji era  ukiyo-e (woodblock print) from the series " Yoshitoshi's Courageous Warriors"  c.1886. It is by the great Japanese artist Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (1839 to 1892). It shows the general and archer Chinzei Hachiro Minamoto Tametomo shown exiled to the island of Ashijima in the Izu region. The original was published by Akiyama Buemon

This is a giclée print. It is from a very high resolution scan taken of the original Yoshitoshi print in our collection n with a state of the art flat bed scanner. It is printed on acid free archival fine-art paper with highly fade resistant pigment inks.

This measures 8" tall by 11" wide (20.3 x 28 cm) including the 1/2" border. The print is in new condition.
