This listing is for 3D printed repair or replacement hologram parts for the vintage Star Wars Darth Vader's Star Destroyer playset. No original vintage parts are included. We have replacement holograms, and replacement hologram clips that hold the hologram in the up position.
If you purchase the repair tab only - you will receive just the top tab part of the hologram as shown. If you purchase the replacement hologram, you will receive a full complete replacement hologram as shown.
It is not uncommon for the tab that holds the hologram to break off. If you have a broken hologram, to use our repair tab, simply cut off the broken end of the hologram at the end of the screen (see photo). Then slide the cut end into the slot of the repair tab. I design the repair to fit snugly, so glue may not be necessary, but different holograms may have slightly different thicknesses due to manufacturing inconsistencies - if need be, a touch of super glue will hold it in place nicely. Alternatively - instead of cutting off the broken tab end, you can insert the opposite end into our repair tab. You may have to still trim off some of the broken tab end for the hologram to fully extend if this approach is taken.
Our replacement parts are designed to be a close match, but to be obvious that they are not original.
3D printed parts may have minor visual defects from the printing process, but are fully functional and are designed to look good on your Star Destroyer.
