This is an adorable pair of small lace-up Native American moccasins or boots for children or infants. They are 100 percent fully beaded including on the soles, and although pre-owned they have no signs of wear at all. They are beaded on soft buckskin and each measures 4½” inches long by 5½ inches tall, with a 2-inch width on the soles.
The leggings are beaded together as one piece with the soles (unlike some sets that have separate leggings). These are photographed with blue crepe paper inserted in them so as to fully display the design. The background color is orange, with some turquoise, white, and navy blue creating the design. Such quality moccasins were often a symbol of wealth among some Native Americans. These are a very collectible museum quality item that came from a collector’s estate and have been stored safely for several years in a smoke-free and pet-free home.
