varta Photo Lithium batteries are capable of delivering high performance quickly, ideal for a variety of camera types (digital and analogue) and flashes. Key for minimum durability information on the battery: Loose industrial goods from varta are printed with the production date of the cells. From this production date, the cells have a shelf life of up to 10 years. The imprint on the back is coded as follows: The printout consists of 4 digits (DWWY): D = day, WW = calendar week and Y = year of manufacture. Example imprint: 2409 = 2. Day week 40 2019 - this cell was therefore manufactured on October 1st, 2019 and would be available until approx. Expires October 2029. In addition to the DWWY representation, there is also the YM durability scheme. The first digit represents the year and the second digit represents the month. Due to the limited digits in the decimal system, the months October (0), November (Y) and December (Z) are labeled differently. A cell labeled as 91 would therefore have been produced in January 2019.

Disposal with normal household waste is prohibited and violates the Battery Act. The delivery is free for you. You are welcome to return the batteries/accumulators you purchased from us free of charge after use. The batteries must always be returned to us with sufficient postage.
