Vintage Bottle Opener - Solid Cast Brass - Leonardo Da Vinci Commemorative Medal - French 1960s 1970s - Vasari Larmessin 1682 Bust - Harard Collector Collectible. 8cm x 4.5 cm x 0.3cm approx. Solid brass. Non magnetic. A reproduction of GL Harard's bronze commemorative medal issued in France in 1968. Features the 1682 bust of Leonardo Da Vinci by Vasar/Larmessin on one side, and a wreath over a quill and paintbrush with the latin text 'Scribit Quan Suscitat Artem' (lit. He writes that he raises art) on the reverse. Structurally very good with a little surface wear and tarnish as shown. Photographed in unpolished condition. A good rare collectible that displays well and is in very good vintage condition. 58g unpacked.
