Offering a vintage and rare 1930's Astatic D-2 Microphone, working, with desk stand. A lot of people confuse the D-2 with the D-104 model. They are similar in style, ("Lollypop style") but the D-2 is about 2/3 the size of the D-104 with more rounded edges. Physically this one is in excellent condition, no chrome pitting, and has the riveted metal Astatic badge on top. They originally were outfitted with crystal elements, but they almost always failed. We have installed a new Astatic D-104 dynamic replacement capsule inside, and attached it to a desk stand with new cable and 1/4" male phono plug. ** Audio sample can be heard on the listing video. Always safe secure packaging and fast fair shipping. **
