Very Good Condition.
Cleaned. Disinfected. Ready to smoke.

The story of IL CEPPO began with Giorgio Imperatori, an architect with a passion for pipes, who started designing and making IL CEPPO pipes in 1978. Although the pipes were considered of good value and provided an excellent smoking experience, the brand did not gain widespread attention until 1995. It was in this year that Franco Rossi joined the company, bringing with him a true elegance of design and a unique flair that set IL CEPPO apart from its peers. With Franco's artistic touch, the brand began to garner more recognition and appreciation.

Giorgio Imperatori eventually retired to his farmhouse, leaving the responsibility of crafting the pipes to Franco Rossi and his sister Nadia. Under their guidance, the brand continued to flourish and solidify its position as a reputable pipe maker.

IL CEPPO, along with its counterparts Mastro de Paja and Ser Jacopo, shares the heritage of the Pesaro School of Design, which contributes to their distinct appeal. Despite their similarities, each brand maintains its individuality, allowing pipe enthusiasts to explore and appreciate the unique offerings of each one.

"We strive to ensure your buying experience is seamless and enjoyable, providing comprehensive photos from all perspectives to ensure you know exactly what you're purchasing. If you're not completely satisfied, you're welcome to return the pipe in its original, unsmoked condition as received. A full refund will be provided, excluding shipping costs, provided the return is made within seven days in the same unsmoked and as-shipped condition. While we don't offer partial refunds, our aim is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction, hoping not just for your business this time, but for your future purchases as well. Fairness and your contentment are our top priorities."
