LAST CHANCE - GETTING READY TO END LISTING. DROP IN PRICE. Offered is a rare round antique silvered brass/copper gau prayer box used as a personal shrine for Tibetan Buddhism practitioners. This is decorated with repousse dragons and symbols and floral motifs. It is round, with a central window displaying a small image of a female deity. On either side are soldered thin loops allowing it to be attached to a strap. The gau fits inside a custom made cloth carrying case. When not in use, these gaus were kept in a prayer niche in the family home.  Measures 4" round x1-3/8".  This is out of my bailiwick of knowledge, so I am presenting it with whatever information I have gathered.
