    In einer felsigen Waldlandschaft hält ein alter Mann im Umhang bestürzt inne, als er den Körper des ungehorsamen Propheten auf dem Weg entdeckt, der zuvor von dem Löwen zur Rechten getötet wurde.

In den Blattecken aufgrund der Montage mit Verfärbung und knittrig; Ecke oben rechts abgerissen, jedoch auf der Unterlage erhalten; mittig im oberen Bereich der Darstellung leicht berieben sowie vereinzelt im Bereich des Gewandes; in der rechten unteren Ecke des Darstellung sowie links im Bereich des Esels stellenweise blass fleckig, so gut wie nicht sichtbar.

    In a rocky woodland landscape, an old man in a cloak pauses in dismay when he discovers the body of the disobedient prophet on the path, previously killed by the lion on his right.

  • Condition: Very good condition. The presentation makes a very good impression. Laid down on a backing. Discoloured and creased in the corners of the sheet due to mounting; corner torn off in the upper right corner, but preserved on the backing; slightly rubbed in the upper centre of the image as well as sporadically in the area of the robe; in the lower right corner of the image as well as in the area of the donkey on the left pale stains in places, almost not visible.
