Promotional "Headline"

This is the first book to unpack Bruce Springsteen's legacy rather than simply explore his life/career It is unique because it offers extended reflections on Springsteen, not just short quotes from fans or ethnographic analysis of the fan community We have collected essays from notable authors, musicians, and other creative figures, some of whom have been vocal about their Springsteen fandom. Others have been quiet about their love of Springsteen until now. Ours is the only collection on Springsteen that fuses serious, scholarly analysis (written in an accessible fashion) with personal reflections and personal stories Ours is the first book designed to reflect on Springsteen's entire career from the perspective of his audience and what he will leave behind when his career is over
