Stunning rustic vintage Persian wooden casket. 

Beautiful hand-crafted wooden casket adorned with pieces of buffalo bones. 

The raised cover has a design with pierced bone pieces and a geometrical motif. 

The bone pieces are fastened with bone nail. Even the closure is made of bone. The only metal nails are on the hinges inside the casket. 

Four carved bone legs. 

The casket is old but hardly used. The inside is still new, but the outside has signs of age. 

Unusual casket whilst primitive it is charming. 

Measurement: 12.5 cm (L) x 13.5 cm (W) x 14 cm (H) 

Weight: 215 grams

'Most of my collection is one of a kind. I bought the items because I liked it for myself. They were never  intended to be resold. Each item has a story and when possible, I hand carried them in my luggage from all over the world to bring back to Australia. Some of the items have travelled a long way away and some of the items has been with me for more than 50 years. 

I am now retired and need to downsize. I will not be able to buy a similar item again and not able to sell it at the same price. If you buy an item from me, it most likely is the only one, I have. Not only you are buying an item you are also buying 50 years of experience.
