If you're a performer, you'll be familiar with "set times". This is the time allowed to you to be on stage, enabling changeovers to be made and events to not overrun (or cut into other performers' sets - very rude!).

This is a device made by Ambient Power that allows a simple display to be at your feet and easy to see. While you're concentrating on the performance, the last thing you need is to calculate times in your head.

A standard timer and a countdown timer, it's all easily settable before the event, just plug in and go. All powered from a standard pedal type 9V power supply.

Manual is available to download from the Ambient Power website, search for "AP103 Ambient Power". A printed copy is included with the device.

In a translucent blue case, or various colour 3D printed cases (allowing high brightness display because of the clear window) it is powered from a standard pedal power supply and is programmable with the set time, and a warning time which can flash the display as the set time approaches expiry. The clock is started and stopped using the footswitch, a long press resetting the system.

A special variant colour is "purple temperature change" - normally purple, but the case changes colour at 31 degrees C, just a bit of fun on those really hot summer gigs!

Note that 3D printed cases have surface imperfections.
