Original city map from 1889 (not a reprint)
The well-preserved lithographic city map on a scale of 1:40,000 comes from the Bibliographical Institute in Leipzig and was used for Meyers Konversationslexikon 4. Edition made.
Included are:
Józsefváros (Josefstadt), Erzsébetváros (Elisabethstadt), Terézváros (Theresienstadt), Ferencváros (Franzstadt), Lipótváros (Leopoldstadt), Belváros (inner city), Országút (country road), Óbuda (Old Buda or Alt-Ofen), Margitsziget (Margaretheninsel), Gellérthegy (Gerhardsberg)...
Sheet size approx. 24 x 30 cm, folded in the middle.
A bit too big for the scanner, but uncut in the original.
Over 100 years old and still in very good condition!
The shipment will of course be well and safely packaged (cardboard insert)!
