Vacuum Operation:
1.Turn off the blue valve and red valve.
2.Power on the instrument. Then make sure that the LCD displays the vacuum test status. If not, press the Mode button to switch It. (When the instrument is turned on, there may be 10 digits in the high and low pressure display area. At this time, press the zero button long until it returns to zero.)
3.Press the unit button to adjust the reading unit.
4.Connect the instrument to the refrigeration system as shown. (pay attention to the direction of the refrigerant flowing!!! ) (Connected clamp-on temperature probes will not affect the operation..)
5.Turn on the blue valve and red valve, and start the vacuum pump.
6.After the extraction is completed, first turn the blue valve and red valve to the closed state, and turn off the power of the vacuum pump.
7.At this time, the mode can be adjusted to the leakage test state to observe whether there is leakage in the refrigeration system pipeline. If there is any leakage, the location of the leakage point can be further checked for maintenance; if there is no leakage, the next step of refrigerant filling operation can be performed.
Refrigerant Filling and Pressure Inspection:
1.Turn off the blue valve and red valve.
2.Power on the instrument. Then make sure that the LCD displays the pressure test status. If not, press the Mode button to switch It. (When the instrument is turned on, there may be 10 digits in the high and low pressure display area. At this time, press the zero button long until it returns to zero.)
3.If the temperature probe accessories have been connected to the instrument, the real-time temperature will be displayed. If not, no display of it.
4.Press R+/ R- buttons, Unit button and ℃/℉ button to select the tested refrigerant and reading display respectively.
5.Connect the instrument to the refrigeration system as shown. (pay attention to the direction of the refrigerant flowing!!! )
6.Turn on the refrigerant valve and gently press the pressure release valve to vent the air in the connecting hose.
7.When the refrigeration system stops, turn on the high pressure valve (red valve) and fill it with a certain amount of refrigerant and then shut the valve quickly.
8.Run the refrigeration system, and turn on the low pressure valve (blue valve). and fill with the refrigerant into the refrigeration system. Vacuum operation is required if it is filled initially or in full with refrigerant. Refer to the section on vacuum operation.
9.After the filling is completed, shut the low pressure valve (blue valve) and refrigerant valve. Let the refrigeration system running.
10.Shut down the refrigeration system, make sure all valves are turned off, then disconnect the instrument between the refrigeration system and source. Do not remove the high pressure valve connection until the pressure drops to the safe point. Then turn off the instrument.
