Set of fretwork tools, look like small workable tools rather than toy tools. 11” fretsaw with spare blades, Archimedes drill, one foot ruler along with Archimedes drill, bradawl and a V slot bench pin and clamp.
GTL was Guaranteed Tool Company Sheffield who made tools mainly for the DIY market, Sold a lot in 1920s and 30s when they were offered on hire purchase, also still in 1950s.The set has a feel of the 1950s but could be earlier. This set was with a tool set that included a Rabone ruler, so they can't be after 1963 as Rabone merged with Chesterman at that point so rules were marked with both names. Good for heritage or toy museum display, doubt if many complete sets survive!
