They are personally monogrammed on the top, otherwise, they show typical normal wear from use and storage, including light surface marks and scratches.  They have been gently hand polished and ultrasonic cleaned in a mild dish soap, and they have nice shine and are very clean.  They are straight, not bent out of shape, clips slide and work as they should, with no major issues at all.


They are both hallmarked on the back with their respective patent date, 57 & 58 model numbers, STERLING, and a trident / pitchfork through the letter B, mark for historic and listed USA fine jeweler, Battin & Co. of Newark, New Jersey.
