The Human Ear In Anatomical Transparencies by Stephen L Polyak, M.D. Professor of anatomy, the University of Chicago, 1946 The Sonotone Corporation. This book shows wear and signs of aging but is in very good condition considering that its almost 90 years old. Most of the wear is on the cover, the inside is very clean, with no notes, underlining or highlighting. The spine and all the pages are in tact, and the anatomical illustrations and transparencies are in excellent condition. The book is printed in sections that bind the illustrations and transparencies together, the cloth book binding tape that holds the sections together can be seen inside the book on a couple of the pics which i have included- they are not repairs, they are how the book was published back in the day. It is marked with a bookplate in the front page of the book, ex libris- Stanton A Friedberg. Its noteworthy that a google search reveals that Friedberg was a Dr (1908-1997) who collected a vast library of books during his lifetime and many of those books now reside in well known rare book collections. This is a very cool, somewhat grotesque medical book, that would make a great addition to any scholastic or professional medical library. It should be handled carefully because of its age and how its bound
