1890s-1900s Gibson Girl Pink Cotton Embellished Shirtwaist for Repair or Pattern

Lovely cotton novelty weave with woven ribbed stripe. Crochet medallions appliquéd all over. Shoulder to waist pleats and released tucks, white tape tie at back waist.

Missing closing buttons or hooks/eyes down the front and at the collar.

Four pearl shell buttons at the wrists.

CONDITION:

Appropriate 1.25” Tear at back neck

Faint brownish Stain about silver dollar size on bottom rear of one sleeve.

Rust marks on collar band

Several small holes: Two on upper right sleeve, 2 at side seam hem, two in right armpit. Small tear and stain about 1” long in left front armhole(last photo). (Please view the dime photos). (Possibly a few others I might have missed).

Freshly hand laundered, line dried and pressed.
