Not your typical German WW2 Trench Coat full length design, this one has the narrow lapels more associated with high ranking officers, the leather is a stiff and heavy quality horsehide and has two slant side pockets, there is a single buckled full belt waistband and a sateen weave cotton mix lining with two internal pockets. The leather and buttons are in excellent condition as can be seen in the images. The finish and appearance has been improved further with the application of a hide oils and light leather dressing after being specialist cleaned and temperature cured at our dry cleaning facility. The majority of the lining is in really good order and showing a natural light patina. The inner pocket has a label with the numbers 50 / 802.  Woven manufacturer/ retailer label reads - 'RE BE Marke Seit 1875' (RE BE brand since 1875).  A stunning example from the earlier stages of the war. Superb display piece!
