*In daylight or normal indoor light, the iris agate is a translucent clear/cream color (see 2nd picture in listing).
*To observe the rainbow affect, the iris agate must be in a very dark room. The iris agate must be back-lit; The iris agate MUST be between your eye and a strong single light source (pen light, small flashlight, small light bulb, etc.). You will have to hold the iris agate different angles compared to the light source, but iris agate MUST be between your eyes and single light source. The darker the room, the better (see 1st picture in listing).
