This auction is for a lovely pair of brown gemstone vintage drop earrings.

Made up of a gold tone stud with a single chunk shaped pendant hanging beneath. The are literally like a nugget of stone.

The pendant part is made up of a beautiful glossy gemstone- I think it’s tigers eye, each is slightly different as natural stone but measures approx 0.75cm across by a 0.75cm drop. Total drop measured from the top of the stud part is approx 2cm.

The stud part is a screw back style fastening for non pierced ears and is in a dark gold tone metal.

There is some wear/tarnishing to the metal here but would possibly clean up a little if polished. These tighten to fasten, one is missing the disc at the back but still can be fastened/worn, just a little more fiddly to tighten the one or I suppose could replace the fittings with or screw back tops or pierced fish hooks etc.

Would guess are probably mid century or so made 1950’s or so but could easily be a bit either side.
