This GIANFRANCO FERRE black stripe has an interesting texture to it that gives it a seersucker look and feel to it has a very light interlining so it’s not very thick/heavy. This would be suitable for wear with summer country and similar events and summer weddings with linens (in black, charcoal,beige and maybe light blues).
Handmade in Italy so you know its of a top end standard.
The Gianfranco ferre logo lining is in black and grey and is used to face the tips of both ends for that extra bit of finesse.
Any menswear aficionado will love the opportunity to own such a great piece of neckwear from such ann iconic brand. This company doesnt exhist any longer so its rare!
Silk is a delicate fabric and can pull on sharp edges, rough skin and jagged nails (so be careful). This tie is light and very delicate so be VERY careful.
Silk is also natural and biodegradable over 12/24 months and is sustainable.
Would be a great gift or yourself or a loved one (especially an Armani fan/nut).
Ideally you should wear with a classic suit or jacket with a normal width collar/lapel (or a normal city business suit/can be worn with both). Do not wear it with a skinny lapel jacket as a wide classic tie worn with a skinny collar/lapel will look odd.
This tie would sit perfectly with a white shirt in a poplin base due to its own crisp make up.
