LOVELY VINTAGE BABCOCK & WILCOX STEAM Silver plated card box

Antique Babcock & Wilcox Limited commemorative silver box, silver plated with brass world medallion on top stamped with the word steam, circa 1867. Measures approximately 6 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high by 4 inches deep. Interior has two compartments and is brass coloured. Good vintage condition with natural patina and wear commensurate with age, see pics. Suitable as a cigarette, cards, trinket, cuff links and jewellery box. The company established in 1867 and was innovative with it's industrial large scale use of steam, a global leader in energy for it's time.
