  • Beschreibung: Allegorie zum Ende (der Stichfolge): Eine weibliche Allegorie steht auf einem Berg in den Wolken. Sie hält einen Spiegel, von dem Lichtstralen geflügelte römische Ziffern erleuchten. Im Vordergrund ist eine höfische Rückenfigur mit ausgebreiteten Armen dargestellt. Neben ihm ein bocksfüßiger Satyr mit gesenktem Haupt.

  • Description: Allegory at the end (of the sequence of stitches): A female allegory stands on a mountain in the clouds. She holds a mirror from which strands of light illuminate winged Roman numerals. In the foreground a courtly back figure is depicted with outstretched arms. Next to him a buck-footed satyr with bowed head.
