  • Beschreibung: Die Bäume nehmen dominieren die linke Bildhälfte. Ihre Blätter erstrecken sich bis hin zum rechten Bildrand. Der Fokus liegt auf den Baumstämmen, die Baumkronen sind nicht zu sehen. Im Vordergrund ist ein Weg in bräunlich-roter Farbe angedeutet. Hinter den Bäumen im Mittelgrund scheint ein Fluss oder Bach entlangzufließen. Die Unterzeichnung scheint stellenweise hervor.

  • Description: The trees dominate the left half of the picture. Their leaves extend to the right edge of the picture. The focus is on the tree trunks, the treetops are not visible. In the foreground a path is indicated in brownish-red colour. Behind the trees in the middle ground a river or stream seems to flow along. The underdrawing shines out in places.

  • Condition: Very good condition. The sheet shows no tears and the margin is barely bumped. There is a barely noticeable, slight crease along the left edge of the image. There are light traces of soiling along the edge of the image.
