Wonderful C1900 Art Nouveau Copper & Brass Jug Ewer.

Fabulous Art Nouveau copper and brass wine jug, made in Germany or Austria circa 1900 in the Viennese Seccession Movement design tradition.

Decorated with elegant embossed and raised, Art Nouveau striking angular and scrolled motifs on either side. The tapered jug has a latched lid and a stylised, and rather dramatic, Art Nouveau-style brass handle.

Stamped ‘Z’ on base.

A few minor dings on side and around base.

Clearly high quality craftsmanship. A very handsome piece.
