Vintage double-sided green street sign which says, "Cherry Ave.  3700 W". The appeal of this sign is its cheerful green background coupled with the word "cherry" in bright white. Origin unknown, but I have seen similar signs listed which were stated to be from the 1960s to 1990s. Sign is sturdy, with some rust which adds to its vintage appeal. There are also dings, scratches, scuffs and a bit of grime on the letters and numbers which come from being out in the elements  (please see photos for details). The sign probably weighs about 7-8 pounds since it is made of metal. The coating is possibly porcelain, but I am not certain of that. I'd call it a bright grass green color, rather than a forest green, but it's hard to capture the true color on the screen and each person may describe the shade differently. It's an attractive sign that awaits a new owner.  SIZE: 23-1/4" wide, 8-1/2" height at the tallest part, 5-3/4" height at the shortest part, 1" deep (measurements approximate, but as accurate as I could be).
