TurboPS laser printers are compatible with IBM®PC, PS/2® and Apple® Macintosh® computers as well as powerful engineering workstations. Because they speak the PostScript page description language, the TurboPS laser printers are fully compatible.

TurboPS/400's 400x 400 dpi nearly doubles the dots of a standard 300 dpi printer.  Its 800x400 dpi upgrade doubles the resolution again for near typesetting quality.

Compatible with applications supporting Apple LaserWriter II NT and NTX printers, including the ability to download Adobe®-compatible PostScript jonts. They also come complete with 35 resident LaserWriter II NT/NTX-compatible font families.

In addition, NewGen's TurboPS laser printers feature standard HP LaserJet™ Series II, HP 7475A HPGL Plotter™ and Epson® LQ800 emulations. Centronics parallel, serial and AppleTalk® interfaces are also included.

Not bad.  Especially when you considerTurboPS laser printers also feature a 16-character LCD front panel to display printer status and provide easy access to printer settings.  And an optional SCSI hard disk drive interface for online font caching and file storage.
