This super 1940s knitting and crochet pattern shows your creative side! A wonderful selection of four styles of slippers for you to choose to make. There is one style in crochet for men and three for ladies two by knitting and one in crochet. Wonderful items to make as a treat for yourself or gift for others. Sizes and requirements to complete your project are listed below.


Measurements And Requirements Taken From Pattern: 

Measurements-

Slippers - Men: Slippers can be mounted on to soles size 8 or 9

Women: All slipper styles can be set onto sizes 5-6 only, BUT the crochet slippers in centre of middle row can be mounted on to sizes 4, 5, & 6 soles


N.B. Soles can be obtained from e-bays haberdashery sellers.


Materials-

Man's Slippers - Yarn, the thickness of two strands of 4-ply fingering wool. After a few rows check tension!, No.7 crochet hook, soles size 8 or 9


Womens Slippers - 

Bow Style (far left of middle row): Yarn, the thickness of two strands of 3-ply fingering wool. After a few rows check tension! 1 pair of No.8 needles, 1 No.10 crochet hook, 1 pair of soles, sizes 5 or 6


Crochet Slippers (middle style in middle row): Yarn as 'Bow' style, After a few rows check tension!, 1 No.10 crochet hook, 1 pair of soles, size 4, 5 or 6, two buttons


Pompon Slippers: Yarn as 'Bow' styleAfter a few rows check tension!, 6 skeins of embroidery wool for pompons, 1 pair of No.8 knitting needles, medium sized crochet hook, 1 pair of soles sizes 5 or 6
