For the serious Fuji collector, or just one wanting a classic Japanese made vintage bino, this Meibo, made in Occupied Japan (MIOJ) is now a superb example of the breed.

Cleaned, lubed, and enhanced it will easily give a lifetime of use and be cherished by your grandchildren! So well made, it hails from at least 1952 when the Occupation ended, if not before.

Made with older style parts probably left over from wartime production the EP caps are of the older tooth style that grab onto metal studs. See pics. So one should use them only with the deep black plastic eye cups on! Or find a shallower set, if not a shallow metric nut that can replace them and thereby allow the widest possible views. A set of suitably sized rubber O-rings would also work well.

Unique sort of dust cover over the center of the focus wheel! Lenses are in remarkable shape with very few cleaning marks. Whomever once owned them knew how to care for quality optics.

In great cosmetic, mechanical, and now optical condition we blacked the sides of hand finished BK-7 prisms to slightly increase brightness and contrast. Views are now superb.

Entire chassis conditioned as was the original leather carry strap and case.
