Casio W-850 Vintage Digital Solar Watch Module 242 (1984) - Rare Used Item
This is a used watch but is in great condition. Note there are scratches on the crystal but nothing major and are only really visible from certain angles and or in certain light conditions.
The LCD display is in great condition, crisp text on a non faded / darkened lcd panel.
The watch has also been tested with no battery installed and when a light is shone on the solar panel the display will come on.
A regular battery has been installed and this does not effect the watch functionality. A rechargable battery can be installed but you will find that the display may dim when the light function is used. This is because the original recharagable battery which is now obsolete had a higher voltage compared to modern recharagableones which are produced. I will provide full details of the compatible batteries (regular & rechargable) to the buyer of the watch.
All functions have been tested and work. Very rare to find this watch in this condition.
A new genuine casio resin strap has been fitted.

Back light (not very bright)

Note this watch is nearly 40 years old so i cannot provide a guarantee. This is a vintage digital watch so is not water resistant. If you want to wear the watch in water then you would need to have it prefessionally resealed with the internal gaskets checked / replaced. As the watch is offered as used I also cannot guarantee the battery life.
