This is a collection of 149 classic horror and sci-fi movies all in .mp4 format which can be played on most media including PCs, Macs and most modern televisions. This collection represents over 3 years of research into public domain and copyright law. All of these productions are in the public domain in the United States and are United States original productions. Each has been verified as such through extensive research. Most of these movies were not correctly copyrighted initially or did not have their copyright renewed in the United States. In some cases the copyright has simply expired. Different rules apply in the United Kingdom but under the Berne Convention the 'rule of shorter term' applies. As such, all of these movies and productions are also public domain in every country signed up to the Berne Convention. This includes the United Kingdom and many other countries in the world.
