The heavy horse triple layer wicking rug with tail flap is one we thoroughly recommend for colder months and particularly when short of time. This rug is designed for the heavier type so more generous at the chest and shoulder and has more depth.

Not to be confused with a basic fleece this rug is triple layer, but quilted to reduce bulk, and wicks away moisture from the coat quickly whilst the thickness and fabric composition keeps the horse warm.

So they are absolutely ideal after exercise, bathing, travel or in the very cold months just as an extra layer for warmth.
