Once ordered, please send me your requirements for engraving through eBay. This will depend on the option from the listing that you have chosen, for example, “Photo and text” = x 1 photograph and a short message on the reverse side.

Please note, estimated delivery time is based on when full requirements are received and not the date/time of purchase.

The image will be engraved onto the stainless-steel surface and it will not be in colour. The stainless-steel is silver in colour and may differ from the main listing picture. Due to the style of the engraving, the photo will have a holographic effect and visibility will differ depending on the light. In certain light/angles, the photo will appear fully visible but in others it may appear like a negative photograph.

Image quality:

Please make sure the photo is of a high quality (not too dark) this will ensure you receive a beautifully finished marker.

·       For best results, the person in the image should be clear and in good contrast with the background. For example, NOT a person in white clothes against a white background.

·       There should be no direct sunlight on the individuals face.

·       Photos of old paper photographs do not usually result in the best engraved images as if the paper is scratched or dimpled, these defects will appear within the engraving.

·       I can engrave darker images with less quality but can’t be held responsible for the finished results.

·       Please do not crop the original size image.

I will do my best with any image sent but if you are not sure that the image is suitable, please contact me.

As this product is personalised, I am unable to accept returns unless there is a fault with the item and/or differs significantly from the eBay description.

4.    The engraved photo will be a monochrome image on stainless steel. The image may appear clearer in some lights than others and will have a holographic effect. Please make sure you are happy with this before placing an order.

5.    The quality of your image is very important. I cannot be held responsible for a poor engraving from a poor-quality photograph. Where possible, I will advise you if I think the image is not worth engraving. However, I will try my best to work with the image and will proceed if I feel it will engrave ok.
